Fattoush Salad

Ingredients Baby Mediterranean Cucumbers Radish, sliced Roma Tomatoes Olive Oil Romaine Hearts Lemon Juice Green Onions, sliced Sumac (spice) Mint Leaves, chopped Pita Chips Italian Parsley, chopped Salt & Pepper* Garlic, minced
Instructions 1 Wash the tomatoes, romaine hearts, and cucumbers. You may want to use a clean dry cloth or paper towel to dry the romaine heart leaves. 2 Chop the romaine hearts into bite size pieces. Slice the cucumbers into coin shapes. Cut the roma tomatoes into medium size chunks. 3 Combine all of the vegetables together into a large bowl. 4 In a small bowl or cup, combine olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic and mix well. 5 Add dressing mix, the sumac spice, and the pita chips to vegetables. You might want to try adding half of the sumac and add some more if you feel it's needed. 6 Combine all ingredients well. 7 Add salt and pepper to taste. 8 Serve and enjoy!
Tips We do not pre-cut the cucumbers and tomatoes for you since they tend to dry up very quickly after they are cut. You may want to not use all of the sumac spice at the time you mix all of the ingredients together. Leave just a bit of sumac so that you can sprinkle a bit on top of each individual serving once it is plated. Other Notes Ingredients marked with an asterisk (*) are not included.
