Information as to when counts will take place will be published on the WODC website in due course - www.westoxon.gov.uk/elections then follow the links to the results page. In the areas where there are insufficient candidates for a poll, the persons nominated have been declared elected following an uncontested election, and in those where the number elected uncontested is fewer than the number of seats on the Council, the Town/Parish Council will co-opt to fill the remaining vacancy or vacancies. In Eynsham, another election will be called to fill the vacancy. The term of office for those elected will be three years, to May 2024, except that those for Carterton and Chipping Norton Town Councils, and Eynsham Parish Council are to fill vacancies which have arisen and those persons will serve for two years, to May 2023. * The parishes of Churchill and Sarsden together comprise the joint Churchill and Sarsden Parish Council.
