What is sMaak?

sMaak is a catering service run by immigrants who live in Rotterdam. Consisting of a group of women and men from diverse backgrounds, who are usually in social isolation, it is their passion and talent for cooking that binds them together. sMaak gives them the opportunity to integrate into the Dutch society, the labour market and eventually gain financial security. We deliver freshly cooked high-quality food to business events and meetings. sMaak is a venture that has a social cause which aims at improving life for immigrants within the local community.
