After the ceremony there was a special dinner for all seminarians, professors, parents and guests in the seminary’s cafeteria. I had an occasion to meet several members of the faculty of the seminary. I especially enjoyed a lengthy conversation with Fr. Emery De Gaal, a professor of dogmatic theology there as we were seated at the same table. He was born in Hungary and studied in Munich, Germa- ny. I was surprised that he visited and pre- sented several lectures there. It convinced me that Brent is in good hands.

The Knights of Columbus are once again holding a “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest. The Contest is open to all young people between the ages of 5 and 14. Contest entrants compete in one of three age groups—ages 5 through 7, ages 8 through 10, and 11 through 14. th On Thursday December 6 the Knights of Columbus Corpus Chris Council 10958 will host an evening of laughter and fun at Zanies at Pheasant Run. This event is open to all pa- rishioners, friends, relaves and community members age 21 or older (so spread the word and bring some friends). The featured act this year will be the world-renowned comedian, Mr. Showme – David Sco. Check him out on Facebook. He is a great stage show! Tickets are $20 each and advance purchase is required. Money raised from the cket sales will go to support the Knight’s ongoing Council, Church and Community charitable acvies and support requests. Doors open at 7:00 pm with pre-show social and raffle.
