Nodyn | Note The Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society was formed in 1905 in order to promote the study of the history, archaeology, antiquities and folklore of Carmarthenshire in particular and in general. It also strives to encourage the preservation of local records, antiquities and objects of historical and archaeological interest. The Carmarthenshire Antiquary, the Transactions of the Society, is published annually. The Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society has in the past been active in acquiring original documents.
