Mount St. Mary’s at SHU, 3 pm Jr., A, Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai Saint Francis U at CCSU, 3 pm DeMeo recorded her third and fourth games of the season with five or more goals after scoring five Wagner at LIU Brooklyn, 4 pm apiece in Bryant’s wins over Sacred Heart and LIU Brooklyn this past weekend. The junior from Mount Sinai, NY scored the first three of a 5-0 run to spark Bryant’s offense in the first half of a 13-9 win over LIU on Sunday. Two days earlier against SHU, the four-time NEC Player of the Week netted three of her five in the second half of an 18-6 victory over the Pioneers. Colford scored eight points on a career-high six goals to go along with two assists in Wagner’s 12-11 comeback win over Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday. The Eden Praire, MN native scored three of her six goals in the first 11 minutes of the game and then went on a three goal run by herself to pull the Se- ahawks to within a goal of the Mountaineers with under ten minutes remaining. Colford then assisted on the go-ahead goal to put Wagner up 11-10 with 6:05 left in the game. The senior ranks second on the Seahawks in goals (24) and ranks third on the team in points (30). NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Samantha Santeramo, Bryant Sr., GK, Wantagh, NY/General Douglas MacArthur Santeramo stopped 19 of 33 shots in two wins for Bryant over the weekend. The senior recorded seven saves in an 18-6 victory over SHU on Friday and then stopped 12 shots in a 13-9 win over LIU Brooklyn two days later. Santeramo, a three-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week, now has six double-digit save games on the year and currently boasts a 7.24 GAA in conference play.

NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Emileigh Scott, Saint Francis U Fr., M, Elliott City, MD/Howard Scott scored a career-high five goals in a Saint Francis U’s setback to Robert Morris on Friday. The #NECWLAX freshman also added an assist for a total of six points and won 10 draw controls for the Red Flash. Scott ranks second on the Red Flash in goals (23) and points (26).
