Background & Overview BMCC @ LIU Borough of Manhattan Community College provides more options to Coordinator students by offering courses at Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) to meet the needs of our students. ONLY Location Classes are held at LIU Brooklyn at 1 University Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11201 in the Humanities Building. Enter through the Flatbush Avenue Extension gate (by the red arch). http://www.liu.edu/Brooklyn.aspx

Public Transportation The LIU Brooklyn campus is accessible by:  MTA bus lines B25, B26, B38, B41, B52, B54, B67  2, 3, 4 or 5 train to Nevins Street  B, Q, or R train to DeKalb Avenue  A, C, or G train to Hoyt Schermerhorn Street  For weekend MTA subway service and changes please visit http://web.mta.info/weekender.html.

ID Cards & Access You must have your BMCC ID card to gain access to the building, and other facilities on the LIU Brooklyn campus.

Coordinator’s Office The coordinator’s office is in Room H 201, a classroom.

Library & Study Area Students and faculty do not have access to the LIU Brooklyn campus library or computer labs.

Food There are many restaurant options near the LIU Brooklyn campus. Some of these include Subway (on campus; opens around 12pm), McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Junior’s Restaurant. Vending machines are available on the same floor as the classrooms.

Printing/Scanning Services Students and faculty do not have access to printing/scanning on LIU Brooklyn’s campus.

WiFi Access Students and faculty will have access to WiFi at the LIU Brooklyn campus by logging in to the LIU- Guest WiFi & creating a username using their BMCC email address.
