PITCHING STAFF CONTINUES TO SHINE: Over the last five games, the pitching staff has given up a combined six runs. On Tuesday in Mankato, Justin Kelly (Utah) gave up one run over six innings pitched. Trevor Koenig (St. Cloud State) hurled two scoreless innings. In the series opener against Willmar on Wednesday, Trent Schoeberl (Minnesota) pitched five innings and gave up one run. Then on Thursday, Luke Albright (Kent State) struck out 12 batters over five innings pitched. He was one strikeout away from tying the single-game Rox record. Zane Mills (Washington State) hurled eight innings and struck out 10 Rox Upcoming Schedule batters on Tuesday while earning Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night. RJ 8/19 @ROC 6:35 Martinez (Minot State) struck out 10 batters over seven scoreless innings on 8/20 WIL 7:05 Monday.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE IS REAL: The Rox have been terrific at home in 2020. They haven’t lost since July 18th at the Rock Pile and have won 13 consecutive games. The Rox went on a six-game winning streak during its longest homestand of the season last week. St. Cloud is 17-2 at , but are just 8-10 when away from home. 16 Jack Kelly C/1B/OF 6-1, 180, Jr. St. Michael, MN Minnesota -Kelly returns to the Rox for his second season after appearing in 37 games in 2019. He collected 40 hits including seven doubles, a triple and three home runs. Kelly finished the 2019 Northwoods League season with a .303 batting average, 28 runs scored and 23 runs batted in. Kelly also participated in the Major League Dreams Showcase -He started all 18 games for the University of Minnesota during the 2020 season, scoring nine runs -His brother Cody also plays for the Rox. 30 Trevor Koenig LHP 7-0, 185, Jr. St. Cloud, MN St. Cloud State -Koenig returns to the Rox for his second season after being named the Rox Pitcher of the Year in 2019. He started game one of the Northwoods League Playoffs for the Rox -He was also selected as a Midseason and Postseason Northwoods League All-Star. He made 10 regular season starts on the mound while posting a 1.35 earned run average -Koenig tied the Rox single season record for wins with a 7-2 record in 60 innings pitched -He made four appearances for St. Cloud State in 2020, striking out 18 batters in 10.1 innings -Before St. Cloud State: Koenig was a 40th round draft pick of the Milwaukee Brewers following his senior season at St. Cloud Tech. He was a two-time All-Conference player, All-Area Player of the Year and All-State selection

9 RJ Martinez LHP 5-11, 180, RS-Jr. Morreno Valley, CA Minot State -Martinez returns for his second season with the Rox after making 13 appearances, including 10 starts in 2019. He started game two of the Northwoods League Playoffs for the Rox. He finished the season with a 6-2 record while posting a 3.64 earned run average. In 64.1 innings pitched, Martinez had a team-high 56 strikeouts -Martinez was selected as a midseason and postseason Northwoods League All-Star. -This season he made three starts on the mound for Minot State. In 15.2 innings pitched he struck out 12 batters -Before Minot State: Martinez transferred to Minot State after attending Yavapai College in Arizona. He holds the single season strikeout record at Valley View High with 81 during his senior season

23 Zane Mills RHP 6-4, 215, So. Portland, OR Washington State -Mills comes to the Rox in 2020 following his sophomore season at Washington State. He appeared in four games, three as the Friday-night starter -He finished the season with a 3-0 record and a 1.44 ERA while striking out 32 batters in 25 innings. Mills was tied for third in the Pac-12 Conference in wins and fourth in strikeouts and innings -As a freshman in 2019, he made 28 appearances on the mound which is tied for the most by a freshman in Washington State history -Before Washington State: As a senior at Lincoln High School, he was named All-State First Team, All-USA Oregon Second Team and PIL Pitcher of the Year. He was rated as the No. 4 overall prospect in Oregon by Baseball Northwest ROX PITCHING NOTES 6 20 Noah Myhre RHP 6-2, 215, Jr. Chandler, AZ Minot State -During his junior season at Minot State, Myhre pitched in 15.1 innings and went 1-1 on the mound -He struck out 19 batters and walked just 5 batters -He was named the NCBWA Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 24 after striking out seven batters in 7.0 innings pitched in a 10-0 win for the Beavers -Before Minot State: Appeared in 41 games during his second season at Los Angeles Valley College. 31 Trent Schoeberl RHP 6-6, 190, Fr. White Bear Lake, MN Minnesota -Schoeberl appeared in five games, making three starts on the mound for the Gophers during the 2020 season -He finished with a 2-0 record and a 2.75 earned run average. He finished with 17 strikeouts over 19 2/3 innings pitched -Before Minnesota: The White Bear Lake graduate was ranked by Perfect Game as the 3rd best right-handed pitcher and 5th best high school player in Minnesota

33 Blake Stelzer RHP 6-3, 209, Sr. Lakeville, MN Concordia-St. Paul -Stelzer returns for his second season with the Rox after an impressive summer in 2019 -He finished with a team-high five saves after pitching in 33.2 innings and carrying a 2.13 ERA -During the 2020 collegiate baseball season, Stelzer led the NSIC with a 0.52 ERA and his 25 strikeouts were third best in the conference -Before Concordia-St. Paul: He spent one season at Rochester Community & Technical College. As a senior at Lakeville High School, he led his team to a fourth-place finish at the MSHSL State Tournament despite a 2-17 regular season record

26 Joey Stock RHP 6-5, 215, Sr. Cold Spring, MN Wisconsin-Milwaukee -Stock returns to the Rox in 2020 for his third season with the team -In the summer of 2019, he went 0-1 on the mound in 18 innings pitched and struck out 18 batters while collecting three saves -During his final season with St. Johns (MN) in the 2020 season, Stock finished 1-1 in four innings pitched and recorded a save.
