Dear St. Rose Parent(s)/Parishioner(s), Happy New Year!! Carnival is right around the corner, only 2 weeks left! Carnival is a special time for Miami Shores and the St. Rose community. It’s a time where we all come together as one, family and friends reunite, we make new friendships or rekindle old ones, and we give our children great memories and one of the most beautiful examples of community, fellowship and giving. The St. Rose Carnival has been a success year after year due to the parents, friends, relatives, parishioners and staff who provide their skills, time and donations. We want to continue that tradition and that can’t be done without the help of everyone. To run the Carnival, it takes over 4,000 hours not including set-up, breakdown, planning, etc. We know that St. Rose only requires that each family sign up for one 4 hour shift yet that will cover approximately 2,000 hours.
