Next up will be the much needed electrical upgrades and additional floor work. This past Monday, Michele Bowman from Resto- rations Plus and her team removed the St. Anne and St. Anthony statues for repair & restoration. The statues are much taller than we thought, with the St. Anthony statue having exceptionally fine details. The photo, inset left, shows a glimpse of the rich and deep colors trimmed in gold under- neath the old paint on St. Anne. The statues were taken to Ms. Bowman’s studio to begin the lengthy process of cleaning and gently stripping away the layers of paint. The pedestals will remain in their current location. We will post periodic up- dates during the restoration process of these beau- tiful statues. In the north vestibule, there is a new Pipe Organ Project display case with pledge cards. We will be adding new photos and information as the project progresses over the next 16 months. Stay tuned. We have also added brochure racks in the three main vestibules which will hold various Institute printed materials and other information.
