Matachines Pilgrimage

The Archdiocese of San Antonio would like to invite parishioners from across the Archdiocese to participate in a special pilgrimage honoring the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, December 8. The walk from Mission San Juan to Mission San Jose is approximately 3 miles and will take around 90 minutes. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a personal water container.

Pilgrimage will assemble at 6 a.m. at Mission San Juan 9101 Graf Rd. Pilgrimage begins at 7 a.m.

Wednesday, December 4, we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Rose of Lima Parish. It has been 14 years on this date that Archbishop Jose Gomez dedicated our parish. This is a special day for our parish, but not a holy day of obligation. Let us celebrate this day by attending the 12 noon Mass.

Seeking Home Bound Ministers We are in need of a few more people who are trained as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to join our Homebound Ministry. This group is made up of dedicated volunteers who take Holy Communion to those within our parish boundaries who are homebound and cannot attend Mass on the weekends.
