Keep our Youth and Chaperone in your prayers as we travel to our first Life Teen Youth Camp in twelve years on Sunday, June 24 ! We will be in Big Bear, .

WATCH THIS SPACE FOR INFORMATION ON CONFIRMATION , YOUTH MINISTRY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION! During the Summer, St. Rose Youth Ministry teens and adults will be packing snack sacks to hand out to the homeless on Record Street once a month. We are collecting toiletries, water, socks and snack items that we can also hand out, or drop off for the families in the shelter. These items can be dropped at the office.

We are also once again willing to do yard work for parishioners—weeding, simple painting, yard clean up— just let us know what you need and we will get a team togeth- er to help you!

Thank you again for your support!

"Helping a person in need is good in itself. But the degree of goodness is hugely affected by the atti- tude with which it is done. If you show resentment because you are helping the person out of a reluc- tant sense of duty, then the person may receive your help but may feel awkward and embarrassed. This is because he will feel beholden to you. If, on the other hand, you help the person in a spirit of joy, then the help will be received joyfully. The person will feel neither demeaned nor humiliated by your help, but rather will feel glad to have caused you pleasure by receiving your help. And joy is the ap- propriate attitude with which to help others because acts of generosity are a source of blessing to the giver as well as the receiver." — St. New!
