PENANCE Confessions are celebrated each Saturday from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. or by special appointment with one of the priests.
BAPTISM Baptisms are celebrated on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. Please call the Parish Office for information. (A pre-Baptism class is required for those wishing to baptize a child; class will be h eld on Sundays April 7, June 2, August 4, October 6 and December 1, 2019 at noon. Contact the rectory to register 203-426-1014. Godparent must be at least 16 years old; received Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation; attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation; receive the sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion regularly, sincerely try to follow the moral teaching of the Catho- lic Church; and if married, was married in the Catholic Church.
FIRST COMMUNION, FIRST PENANCE and CONFIRMATION Religious education classes begin at age 4. First grade is a pre-requisite for First Communion and First Penance. Attendance is required in each grade for reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation in grade 8.
MARRIAGE The couple is asked to contact one of the parish clergy to make arrangements for a wedding, which must be made at least six months prior to the wedding date. All couples must attend a diocesan sponsored Marriage Preparation Workshop. Weddings can be scheduled on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at a time convenient to the parish schedule.
