Practical information
1) TRAVEL
To access the town of Berchtesgaden in the Berchtesgaden National Park, you can come:
- by train: best timetable available at www.sbb.ch (website in French, Italian, German too) or at www.oebb.at . Railway station is called “Berchtesgaden Hbf”
- by car: information at http://www.berchtesgadener-land.com We will inform the registered participants about car-sharing possibilities . Please indicate in your registration form how you plan to travel.
- by plane: closest airport is Salzburg (20 km, in Austria)
2) ACCOMODATION
Some hotel rooms are already pre-booked in Berchtesgaden:

Please indicate in your email: - the REFERENCE: “ Gruppenangebot Internat. Tagung – Nationalpark Berchtesgaden “ - your NAME, - PROTECTED AREA or ORGANISATION, - DATE of ARRIVAL, + DATE of DEPARTURE - and the HOTEL you have chosen.
Please, check you get a confirmation by email from the Tourist office, to be sure your reservation is well done. You will only have to pay on place directly at the hotel and get an invoice from the hotel.
3) COSTS
There is NO registration fee for ALPARC and REEMA members. 50€ fee to pay by other participants to the hosting park to contribute in the meeting costs.
The accommodation costs (hotel + meals) are in charge of each participant, but some meals will be offered by ALPARC and by the Berchtesgaden National Park as specified in the final programme and one lunch will be organised as a buffet with Alpine specialities: we kindly ask you to participate in this buffet by sharing 1 or 2 products from your region (sweet or salty/to eat or to drink), thanks!
