2017 Member Event

Master’s Pro Am Saturday, April 8th Participants make their own times from 7:30 to noon. $20 per player (carts and additional)

Participants will be responsible for reserving their own tee time. Registration for the Masters event does not guarantee you a tee time.

The Masters Pro-Am is fun, low stress way to start the golf season and enjoy the . Each member will randomly select a Masters Tournament participant to be paired with. Team score will be a combination of the TGC member's net score and the Masters Tournament player’s gross score. Lowest combined scores win shop credit. Appetizers served in member’s lounge after play.

Par 3 Tournament Tuesday, April 25th 4:00pm shotgun start $40 per player includes cart and 2 drink tickets Sign up as a twosome team or as a single.

This will be the 2nd annual 3 contest. The 1st annual par 3 tournament was a hit! Members will play 9 par 3 holes from never before seen teeing areas. The Glen Club has some great green complexes that make for great par 3 holes. Two-man teams will play a best ball format at 25% of course . Lowest scores will earn shop credit.

Women’s League Mondays – Dates TBD 4:30pm tee times $30 for members, $45 for non-members (price includes fee)

Join members and member spouses in this fun golf event. Participants will play nine holes of golf with heavy appetizers and drinks (house wines and beers) served in the member’s lounge following golf. All skills levels are welcome. Sign up as a single or sign up a group. Guests are welcome!

Member Kick-Off Saturday, May 6th 9:00am shotgun $65 per player (carts and caddies additional) Sign up as a single for this shotgun event

The Member Kick-Off is an event to signify the official start to the golf season and is a great way to meet new members. Teams are blindly drawn and pair an A player, B player, C player and D player together. The two best net scores per hole of the four will be scored. Lowest team score wins shop credit. Enjoy breakfast before play. Non-alcoholic beverages on the course. And lunch with complimentary beer, wine and soda after play.

Nine and Dines Sundays – May 21st, July 16th, August 20th, September 17th 4:30pm shotgun $50 per couple (carts are included)

This fun couple’s event is a great way to meet people. Enjoy a laid back round of golf with no required format. The 4:30pm shotgun is 9 holes of golf with dinner and drinks on the patio following golf. Dinner and alcoholic beverages are included.

Holiday Shotguns Memorial Day (May 29th), Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day (September 4th) 8:00am shotgun for Memorial Day and 4th of July. 8:30am shotgun on Labor Day No charge for members, guests are $105 (carts and caddies additional) Sign up as a single, twosome, threesome or foursome.

Take advantage of this shotgun event to play early on a holiday and get home for BBQ with friends and family. There is no formal format, but an optional and closest to the pin contests are always a good time. The golf staff will do our best to make even . No food or beverage come included with these complimentary event; however al a cart items will be available in the clubhouse, halfway house and on the beverage cart.

Smirles Begins in June Matches to be scheduled by members $40 per player Sign up as a single MEMBERS MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CDGA HANDICAP TO PARTICIPATE

Smirles Match Play is a year-long match play tournament divided up into four flights. All matches are handicapped at 75% of full course handicap and are to be scheduled at your convenience. Participants have three weeks to schedule their match. All players are guaranteed to play two matches. A great way to meet other members or play against friends. Prizes will be paid in cash! Hangar One Invitational June 22nd- 24th Friday and Saturday matches shotgun at 8am. Participants schedule their own tee times for the Thursday afternoon practice round. $975 per team (carts are included, caddies are additional) Sign up as one (1) member and one (1) guest MEMBERS MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CDGA HANDICAP TO PARTICIPATE

The Hangar One Invitational is the premier event at The Glen Club. A traditional two-day member guest in which golfers will play five, 9-hole, best ball matches over two days. Win your flight and participate in the Dog-Fight shootout where the overall Hangar One Champion will be crowned. Prizes, trophies, tee gifts and all food and beverage for the three days are included.

New for 2017: $100 flight bet. We encourage all to participate in this optional flight bet. If you choose to participate and your team or another team in your flight wins the Dogfight, you will share in the pot with the other participants in your flight. This should give plenty of motivation for you to root for the team representing your flight in the Dogfight. For example, Mr. Brown and his partner are in the Wolverine flight and they chose to participate in the flight bet along with 3 other teams in the Wolverine flight. If Mr. Brown’s team or any other team from the Wolverine flight win the Dogfight; Mr. Brown’s team and the 3 other teams that participated will split the pot evenly, regardless of which team wins the dogfight. Which of the ten flights will it be?

Member-Member Saturday, July 15th 9:00am Shotgun $65 per player (carts and caddies are additional) Sign up with your partner or as a single MEMBERS MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CDGA HANDICAP TO PARTICIPATE

Member-Member pairs two TGC members together in a fun and different 6-6-6 handicapped format. Teammates will play 6 holes of scramble, 6 holes of best ball and 6 holes of chapman alternate shot. To keep teams equitable, team handicaps will be adjusted, if necessary, to within 6 shots of team members. Breakfast is included before the round and lunch is included after play.

TGC Team Appreciation Day Thursday, July 20th 4:30pm shotgun $50 per player (carts and caddies are additional) Sign up as a single

This shotgun event is a way for TGC members to reward the summer staff for a great season. Members and TGC team members play in four player teams in a fun scramble format. All money from the entry fee go towards gifts for the TGC team members. Dinner and drinks after play are included.

Club Championship August 26th -27th 7:30am tee times begin on holes #1 and #10 $100 per player (carts and caddies are additional) Sign up as a single MEMBERS MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CDGA HANDICAP TO PARTICIPATE

Champion golfer of The Glen Club will be crowned the weekend of the Club Championship. 36 holes of , over two days, will determine the men's gross, men's net and ladies’ net club champion. In addition the field will be split into 5 flights. A tee gift will be handed out on Saturday before play. Trophies and prizes will be given to the winners on Sunday after play. Breakfast, non-alcoholic beverages and beer are included both days. Lunch and bar is included after play on Sunday. The Tito's Truck will be making a stop by the 18th green again this year on Sunday of the event. Enjoy sipping free Tito's Vodka and watching the leaders come in!

Admiral’s Cup Tuesday, September 26th 1pm Shotgun $125 for members, $175 for guests (carts and caddies additional) Sign up as a twosome (1 member and 1 guest) or a foursome (1 member and 3 guests) MEMBERS MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED CDGA HANDICAP TO PARTICIPATE

The Admiral's Cup is our one-day member guest. Teams will play a two net better balls of four format. Lowest combined team score wins. This is a great event to host clients, friends or family and show off your club. Includes tee gift, lunch before play and dinner following. All drinks are also included. Schedule of Events 11:00am - Registration (tee gift for each player) 11:30am - Lunch and practice facility open 1:00pm - Shotgun Start Dinner to follow golf in the ballroom

Cross Country Scramble Saturday, November 4th 10am Shotgun $55 for members, $85 for non-members Sign up as a foursome or as 1, 2 or 3 and we will do our best to make even teams. Due to hole routing and safety we are limiting the event to the first 48 players to sign up so don't wait!

The Cross Country Scramble is The Glen Club's newest member event. You will see the is a way you have never even imagined. Foursome teams will play a fun scramble format. Entry fee includes cart fee and 2 drink tickets. A chili bar will be served on the course and in the member’s lounge after play. Winners will receive shop credit.
