League Information Dear Members and Guests, As we are all turning our attention to warmer weather and, hopefully soon playing golf on our beautiful golf course, I would like to remind everyone on cart usage and walking patterns. Freezing and thawing conditions—cold frosty morn- ings lead to muddy afternoons. Weather patterns can restrict and/or delay play. During the early season we will make the decision for golf course access on a daily basis. Please be sure to check with us before planning your day. The golf course can get very busy throughout the year with tournaments, outings, benefits, and other activities. Please be sure to reserve a tee time. We now have online Tee Times, they can be accessed from our website, or even better download our Bridges App to see our availability. We also accept reservations via the phone. Tee times are accepted 7 days in advance. Everyone must Check-in the Clubhouse prior to the start of your round. Please be prompt with your tee time, thus insuring smooth play for everyone. If you are late, your tee time may be forfeited. If you arrive without a tee time, there is a possibility you will not be able to play. Spring/Summer Clubhouse Hours Course Open through April 30th: Clubhouse will open at 9:00 a.m. every day of the week. May 1st through September 15th: Clubhouse will open at 8:00 a.m. Monday - Friday Clubhouse will open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays *(Clubhouse hours may be adjusted due to weather)* Playable Course Conditions The ambient temperature must be above 42 Degrees Fahrenheit to allow any play on the course. This is for the quality of our course and more importantly for the safety of our golfers. Stop in the clubhouse before the start of your round to ensure playable conditions. Alcohol Policy Anyone bringing alcoholic beverages into the Clubhouse or onto the golf course NOT purchased from the Bridges at Beresford Clubhouse or from The Bridges sanctioned beer cart, will forfeit their membership and/or punch card privileges for the remainder of the year. Children On The Course Children 11 years of age & younger MUST be accompanied by an adult after 12 o’clock (noon) on Fridays, all day on Saturdays, Sundays and on holidays. This is for their safety during peak golfing times. Clubhouse Information The Bridges Clubhouse is unfortunately not staffed for table service during peak times. During those times, we ask our guests to place food and drink orders at the bar. We are happy to provide table service during less busy times. The staff and I are eager to get the season started! League Information Men’s League: Sign-up began February 1st. Play starts on Thursday, April 30th. Men’s Senior League: Please contact a member of the Men’s Senior League for start dates and details. Women’s Leagues: Please contact a member of the Women’s Morning and/or Evening Leagues for start dates and details. If you are interested in playing on any of the leagues, know anyone that is interested, or have questions, please contact the Bridges Clubhouse at 763-2202.     Piuraaġiaqta Top of the World Golf Tournament 9 Hole – Best Ball, Shotgun Start Tournament Rules: 1. Each team consists of 3 players. 2. Each person can use one iron, each team will share a putter and tee mat. 3. Each player is given 2 balls. If you lose both balls, play is done for that player. The team can continue unless all balls are lost. 4. The tee mat can be used until putting begins. 5. Each team will be assigned a hole to begin play. Once the tournament director has assigned your team a hole, go to your assigned hole and wait for the sound of the air horn before starting. Teams must play all holes to qualify for prizes. 6. Teach team member must tee off on each hole and the team will select the best shot to continue play. Each player will hit from that spot and all subsequent spots until the ball goes in the hole. 7. Count all shots that are used per hole and write the score on the score card. Once you have completed all 9 holes, add the scores and enter it in the total score block. All scores will be checked by the tournament director. 8. Each player must sign the team score card. Clubs, tee mats and tees must be returned to an ASTAC representative at the end of play. Players may keep their balls. 9. The team with the lowest score wins 1st place. The team with the second lowest score wins 2nd place and the third lowest score wins 3rd place.

    2021 TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS GENERAL The tournament regulations of the PGA of America and the South Florida Section PGA Executive Board guide and govern the conduct of all members. These regulations are recognized as part of the mandatory provisions of the government of the Association in the conduct of tournament activity. United States Golf Association (USGA) Rules of Golf shall govern all play except as modified by Local Rules. RESPONSIBILITY 1. All Professionals are responsible for knowing the Rules of Golf. It is advisable for them to carry a current Rule Book in their bag. 2. All Professionals are held responsible for knowing their starting times in South Florida Section sponsored, co- sponsored or sanctioned events. Groupings and starting times are generated by random draw. They will be made available by calling the host club or Section office during regular business hours, and they will be emailed to participants at least one day prior to the event (using the email provided during registration). In addition, tee times will be posted online at www.sfpgagolf.com/schedule/ and can also be found by using the SFPGA Tournament App. 3. Entries will close between 72 and 48 hours prior to the event unless otherwise stated on the official entry form, tournament information page or when a stipulated field is filled. Weekend deadlines revert back to the preceding Friday at 4:30 PM. Players may enter a tournament after a deadline and prior to the event date for an additional purse-enhancing fee of $75.00, provided that space is available and without existing individual or field tee time alteration.

The registration fee includes three rounds of competition with golf carts, one practice round during the official practice round days, unlimited use of practice facility, an exclusive LPGA player gift package and an invitation to the LPGA Reception. LPGA Eligibility Eligible Players: Except as set forth below, all Master Professional, Class A, Class B, Apprentice, Life, Senior, Class A-2, Class B-2 and Class A-T members, who are in good standing and are not suspended from membership privileges, shall be eligible to play in Membership tournaments. Ineligible Players: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the LPGA T&CP Bylaws, the following members are not eligible to play in Membership tournaments: 1. Honorary, Retired, Affiliate, Inactive and Active Association Tournament Division members; 2. The Association ended last year with another successful AGM. It was great to see the turnout of Dale Reed, Regina delegates, some new as well as some veterans. I believe this ensures a good blend of ideas for the Association. The annual Kerri Archibald, Humboldt general meeting in Swift Current brought closure to the 2011- Miles Bennett, Rosetown 2012 school year. This served as a springboard to the 2012- 2013 school year and along with it, will introduce some exciting Larry Pavloff, Martensville new initiatives for our membership. If an official handicap is not available, please submit 5 – 10 scores and the slope/rating associated with each course to your local tour director). The local tour director will utilize the information to ensure proper flight placement until an official AGT index is attained. Please provide complete and accurate information on the Join the Tour form. Each piece of data is not only required, but in the past, AGT demographic information has helped attain a variety of extra member benefits.
