SCRAMBLE FORMAT PLAY Each team member hits his/her own ball from the . Men use the white , Senior men (age 62+) the gold tees and women use the red tees. Once a shot is selected, mark the ball position and all team members play within a club length of that mark placing their ball no closer to the hole. In no case shall a ball on the fringe of the green be improved to lie on the green. If the selected ball is in a bunker or , the player who hit it must hit first as it lies, and then other players will place within one club length no closer to the hole but within the hazard or bunker (bunker may be raked before placing).

Putts must be made from within a head length the same spot as the selected ball on the green (no closer to the hole). Putts must be holed out – no gimmies!

If you hit your ball out of play (in the woods, lost ball, or an unplayable lie) you may drop your ball near where it went out of play (no closer to the hole) and take a 1 stroke .

If the selected shot to be played is out of bounds (areas marked by white stakes), then that drop is assessed a 2 stroke Penalty.

Remember Course Etiquette: repair ball marks, replace divots and rake all bunkers.

Each team member must contribute a minimum of two (2) tee shots and two (2) fairway shots during the 18 holes. The scorekeeper must record these on the team’s tracker card (supplied). A fairway shot is from any position other than the tee or the green.

Please keep the pace. Course Marshals will monitor the tournament’s timely progress. If you can’t see the group in front of you, you are behind.
