1992 APR Media founded. Becomes a leading media agency, specializing in media planning. 1997 APR Optimum Media joins Omnicom, the world largest media investor and combined its buying power with international planning approaches and leading OMD tools. 2002 Agency develops into Optimum Media OMD Group. 2004 Office opens in St. Petersburg. 2005 MediaPlan, as part of TBWA operations, joined Optimum Media OMD Group. 2006 OPERA launched in June, bringing together the buying power of Omnicom’s media assets in Russia: Optimum Media OMD Group and OMD MD | PHD. OPERA expands: major local agency Sorec Media combines buying volumes with Optimum Media OMD Group. 2007 AKAR names Optimum Media OMD Group the most creative media agency in Russia. 2008 M2M media service unit launched to handle clients of premium & luxury sector. 2009 Dmitry Dmitriev named “Media Manager of Russia 2009” in the Advertising industry. OPERA expands. Independent local agencies APR Eurasia and Easy Media combine buying volumes with Optimum Media OMD Group. 2010 DaVinci media service unit launched. OPERA expands.
