Have you seen this happen?

The life of Jesus flows into us and sustains us, and 4. The parable also reminds us that we are not the this is the reason our lives can bear fruit in love, in source of our own life. Give thanks for those who have been a source of The symbolism of the vine works on many levels. If life for you. a branch is separated from the vine, it cannot flourish on its own. It must be connected to the vine from which it gets it nourishment. Each of us must be firmly rooted in Jesus and nourish that relationship.

He invites us to ‘remain’ in him – to rest in him, to be part of him. And if you look at a vine plant, often its branches are so entangled, it can be hard to know where one ends and another begins.

We note that Jesus is addressing the disciples as a group rather than as individuals: ‘you are the branches’. We are a community, and we grow together, bound together by the love of God.

Today, we reflect on what it means to be so intimately connected with Jesus, the true vine. We bring to mind the many gifts he has given us, and the ways in which his love bears fruit in our lives.

POPE URGES GLOBAL MONTHLONG PRAYER MARATHON TO END PANDEMIC Pope Francis has invited Catholics worldwide to take part in a marathon of prayer during the month of May for an end to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This global prayer initiative calls for a daily recitation of the Rosary in this month dedicated to the Blessed Mary. Each day in May at 12 noon EDT on Vatican online media platforms, there will be a livestream broadcast from a different Marian around the world to lead the Rosary prayer.

Bishop da Cunha is encouraging the faithful of the Fall River Diocese to take part, joining their prayers to this critical cause. People can join the Vatican online platform at noon, they can pray on their own at a convenient time, they can gather as family or as a group at home to pray, or they come together as a parish community to pray in the church. Please use whatever means fits your particular situation.

PRAYERS said at end of HOLY MASS

Memorare: Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."

Divine Praises: May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen.

Prayer to The : St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell , and all the evil spirits, who prowl around the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. 8
