Research Interests

19th century Ottoman literature and literary theory, autobiography and novel, literary non-fiction, contemporary Turkish novel and short story, book history, sociology of literature, ecocriticism and related approaches (ecofeminism, ecopsychology, Deep Ecology, ecoculturalism), Evliya Çelebi and Seyahatname.
