Planning Committee meeting – 16th July 2018 Minutes of the meeting of St Agnes Parish Council Planning Committee as above, held in the Parish Rooms, 17 Vicarage Rd, St. Agnes, at 19:15.

The Council objects to the proposed use of Jollys Lane which is totally unsuitable for construction traffic and further, that the coastal path would be unprotected. PL29/18 Reports from Council representatives NOTED the following - NDP report received including: The Steering Group finalised work to the settlement boundaries at their last meeting; The Steering Group looked at changes to policies; Final draft of the NDP has been sent to the designer for approval; Next meetings – 19th and 25th July. Cllr Barrow explained that she had resigned from the Cornwall Planning Partnership group and requested volunteers to join. Cllr Johns apologised for not being able to attend the informal meeting with Planning Officer, Glenn Lowe, last week.

PL30/18 Procedure for 5 day protocol response to Cornwall Council RESOLVED to adopt the amended 5 day protocol policy, as above, with two amendments under ‘Procedure’ as follows: Bullet point 3 – Replace “…it will be adjudged as option 2” with “it will be adjudged as No Comment”. Bullet point 4 – After “The PC Officer will collate member’s responses”, remove rest of text and replace with “There must be a clear majority of at least 50% of the respondents (‘No Comments’ not included) for option 3, over the combined responses of options 1 and 2.” Cllrs Bunt/Barrow. Unanimous.
