COVID POLICY, May 21, 2021: There are significant updates, approved by the Parish Council:

1. The local mask mandate has been lifted. Wearing masks at Sacred Heart is now optional. The CDC guidelines recommend wearing a mask if you are not vaccinated. 2. We will continue having one line for the confessionals. Fresh air is supplied to EACH compart- ment. Penitents should use alternating sides of the confessional to allow ventilation in between peo- ple. There are signs posted to explain this. 3. The cry-room is only for babies and loud children, and ONE ADULT PER CHILD. This policy will continue indefinitely. The cry room should NOT be filled up with adults and teens. 4. We removed most ropes from church. If you desire more distancing, please sit in the front few pews on the right side of the church (by the handicap door), or in the roped area of the choir loft. 5. People who wish to receive Communion in the hand before others have received on the tongue should sit up front in the roped area so they can go to Communion first. 6. We will resume use of the Communion rails, with two lines down the main aisle. It is your choice to receive kneeling or standing, either on the tongue or on the hand (as we did pre-Covid). 7. We will still sanitize door handles and the hand rails of the pews, after the 7:30am and 9:00am Sunday Masses, due to the short turn-around. Hand sanitizer is found by the church doors. 8. The Holy Water fonts will be filled, and song books are available in the pews. 9. For now, we’ll continue using the money boxes at the doorways, instead of passing the basket. 10. Our parish Lectors, Acolytes and Servers have begun helping at some Sunday Masses. We will invite all of them to start helping in June. 11. Our livestream is for ONE LAST SUNDAY, May 23: www.Facebook.com/sacredheartlincolnNE
