IT IS ONE in the Unity of Faith by accepting the truths revealed and those proposed by the magisterium of the apostles (Mk. 16, 16). In the Government Unit since Jesus created in it a directive body made up of the apostles. In the Unity of Communion because its members work for the salvation of souls. The Church IS HOLY, because its founder is holy and because Christ founded it to sanctify men “I have communicat- ed your doctrine to them; sanctifying them in truth; your word is the truth itself ” (Jn. 17:17). The Apostle Paul will declare that "Jesus Christ loved his Church and gave himself to sanctify it, in order to make it appear holy and immacu- late" (Eph. 5:27). The Church was already CATHOLIC on the morning of Pentecost, when all its members met in a small room (Acts 2,1). The Church is sent to all peoples, receiving the mandate that Christ himself entrusted to her: “Go, then, and make all peoples my disciples. Baptize them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Mt 28, 19). Jesus granted the apostles the triple power to teach, sanctify and govern his Church until the end of the centuries (Mt. 28, 18-20). Thus, the Church IS APOSTOLIC: In the Origin, because the one founded on the apostles, is the same to- day. In the Doctrine, he teaches the same truths as the apostles. In the Succession, since it is governed, instructed and sanctified by the legitimate successors of the apostles.
