Minutes for the Meeting Wednesday 13th January 2021

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the meeting took place virtually, via Zoom

1. Public question time (15 minutes allowed for this) One member of the public was present to request information on when the yellow lines on the road by the shop will be painted. CCllr Chopak will chase up Highways. An issue was also raised about the placement of bins by the side of the shop, which is forcing cars into the middle of the road. CCllr Chopak will investigate and take photographs for highways.

CCllr Chopak gave the following update; • Covid 19 numbers in and are rising exponentially, particularly in the 40-60 year old age group. • Local Elections may be postponed until November.

8. Portfolio Reports: Footpaths – Nothing to report. Localism/Parish Plan/BAN – Planning workshop on February 8th. CCllr Chopak invited all Cllrs to attend. Parish Hall – Nothing to report. Grants – Nothing to report.

Cllr Hopper gave a brief update on the Zoom Christingle Service, which was positively received by residents. Thanks were extended to Caroline for organising it.

9. Correspondence (all relevant emails forwarded to Cllrs) Letters regarding state of verges at Swannacott Woods received. CCllr Chopak will contact The Forestry Commission and request the barrier to be moved further down the track (and widened) to allow more parking on hardstanding.
