With hill bred ewes included, the overall average on the day was £64.63. Top on the day was £85 from Mr Tom Hannaford from Whitstone, who also realised £83.50. 212 NEW SEASON LAMBS A larger entry again met a very fast trade for all weights, with an overall average of 233.6p/kg, selling to a top per kilo of 251p for a pen of 40kgs from Nigel Taylor from St Wenn, followed by Messrs PJ & JL Bennett from St Mawgan who realised 242p/kg for two pens of 41.2kgs (£99.50). Top on the day was £102 for a pen of 43.2kgs from Maurice Tamblyn from Landrake, with two other vendors realising £100.50, from Paul Taylor from Roche and Nigel Taylor from St Wenn. COUPLES A small entry again were very much sought after, with doubles selling to £180 sold in aid of the Addington Fund, with singles to £138 from BA Sheep from Treskinnick Cross.
