Consideration of a Health Cross Border Working Party DP provided an update of meetings to date and overview of the intentions to set up a Health Cross Border Working Party. ACTION: DP/ZBJ Page 2 of 5 Information Classification: PUBLIC • Letter of concern re lack of confirmation of continuing overnight services at Stratton Hospital to be sent to David Wilson (Cornwall Partnership NHS Trust). DP/All • Health Cross Border Working Party to be set up to help shape future health provision in the Holsworthy, Bude & Surrounding Villages Primary Care Network. 5 members from each side of the border & rep from Primary Care Network. DP/ZBJ/BP/BC 7. Bude-Holsworthy & Surrounding Villages Befriending Scheme – Bridget Cordery Explanation of scheme given. Bude-Holsworthy Multi Use Trail NC explained origin of proposed cycle trail. It is to be looked at again. Update to be provided at next meeting of the Panel. NC/ZBJ 10. With hill bred ewes included, the overall average on the day was £64.63. Top on the day was £85 from Mr Tom Hannaford from Whitstone, who also realised £83.50. 212 NEW SEASON LAMBS A larger entry again met a very fast trade for all weights, with an overall average of 233.6p/kg, selling to a top per kilo of 251p for a pen of 40kgs from Nigel Taylor from St Wenn, followed by Messrs PJ & JL Bennett from St Mawgan who realised 242p/kg for two pens of 41.2kgs (£99.50). Top on the day was £102 for a pen of 43.2kgs from Maurice Tamblyn from Landrake, with two other vendors realising £100.50, from Paul Taylor from Roche and Nigel Taylor from St Wenn. COUPLES A small entry again were very much sought after, with doubles selling to £180 sold in aid of the Addington Fund, with singles to £138 from BA Sheep from Treskinnick Cross.
