GREEN INITIATIVES As an ISO 14001 compliant company, SubCom requires its suppliers and service providers to adhere to national and international safety and environmental requirements. When acknowledging an order for material or services, you are also agreeing to the following standards. Packaging of Orders • Designed for safe handling; (maximum packaging/box weight capacities observed, no protruding pieces, sealed properly) and hazard warning labels (if applicable). • Packing material needs to be recyclable.

Asbestos In accordance with SOLAS regulations materials containing asbestos are prohibited from being delivered to SubCom vessels.

Safety Requirements for Sub-Contractors Any service provider performing work on SubCom vessels must adhere to the Company’s Safety & Environmental System SMS09 Contractor Safety. The employer shall provide and shall ensure that each affected employee uses the appropriate PPE for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective shields, protective barriers, personal fall protection equipment, and lifesaving equipment, meeting the applicable provisions of this subpart, wherever employees are exposed to work activity hazards that require the use of PPE.
