Objectives:
1. Establishment and development of joint cross border research, development and innovation capacities in the higher education sector and centers of excellence; 2. Increase in business related cross-border research, development and innovation activities through the strengthening of appropriate support structures; 3. Natural and cultural heritage valorization in the context of sustainable cross border tourism development; 4. Enhancement of biodiversity through cross border management structures of protected areas, biodiversity partnerships, species and soil conservation projects; 5. Habitat and biodiversity protection through the establishment and development of green infrastructure; 6. Strengthening cross border structures to support regional governance and an instrument to promote cross border initiatives and projects involving the civil society; 7. Building and strengthening long-term and structural cross border cooperation for greater social and economic integration as well as the lowering of administrative and legislative barriers
