Manzanilla La Guita en Rama NV W I N E D E S C R I P T I O N Bodega La Guita is an integral part of the history of Sanlucar de Barrameda as the is still made in the original building that housed the Hospital de la Santa Misericordia (XVI ) whose door is featured on the label. La Guita, who produces the number one Manzanilla in also makes an En Rama style sherry that comes from 100 % sanluqueña () grapes predominately from Pago de Miraflores, one of the most emblematic sites in Sanlúcar. Their winemakers make a special selection from sherry casks in a one hundred year old system from the located in Misericordia y Pago Sanlúcar Viejo. The undergoes a light filtering to avoid impurities, yielding the pure version of La Guita Manzanilla. En Rama style sherry is bottled once a year and this expression was bottled in October 2015. The En Rama Manzanilla is extracted directly from the barrels after about 5 to 6 years and bottled without going through the process of clarification and stabilization.

T A S T I N G N O T E S Golden brown in color. On the nose baked apple, hints of hazelnut and Chamomile and a herbal note of lemon thyme, newly baled hay and salt air. On the palate preserved lemon peel, subtle iodine, almond and green olive give way tangy dried apricot and mandarin and a sea urchin richness.
