What is the Campuswide Honors Program?

The Campuswide Honors Program (CHP) is a highly selective honors program committed to providing undergraduates with a personal, challenging, and rewarding educational experience with the rigor and personal attention of a selective liberal arts college and the opportunities of a dynamic research .

How do I join the CHP? The CHP admits transfer students in two ways:

What is required to graduate from the CHP?

Honors to Honors eligible students are granted early admission to the University of California, Irvine (not necessarily to their first choice of major) and guaranteed admission to the prestigious Campuswide Honors Program. Students also receive priority consideration for a special set of merit‐based scholarships.

Honors to Honors is a pilot program that is available for fall 2014 for high achieving students who are currently in honors programs at one of UC Irvine’s pilot partner colleges:

How do I become eligible for Honors to Honors?

. Submit a UC Admissions Application no later than November 30, 2012. . Attain a GPA of 3.7 or higher. . You must be confirmed (nominated) by your Honors Program Director as a member in good standing and on track to complete the Honors Program requirements prior to transfer. . You must be verified by a UC Irvine Admissions evaluator as having completed transfer requirements, including completion of:  60 transferable semester units (90 quarter units)  Minimum major preparation requirements  Course prerequisites when required  The UC English Composition Requirement (2 courses)  The UC Mathematics Requirement (1 course)
