Emily Barlass is a counsel in King & Spalding’s Singapore office. Her practice focuses on international, cross-border transactions, project development, and general corporate work in the energy sector, particularly oil and gas.
Emily regularly advises clients on large value asset and corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, LNG liquefaction and regasification projects, oil, gas and LNG sale and purchase agreements, joint venture and joint operating agreements, and supply and service agreements. Emily also has significant knowledge in the telecommunications sector.
Prior to joining King & Spalding in April 2021, Emily practiced for over a decade with another international law firm in both Hong Kong and London. In addition, Emily has worked in-house on secondment to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) where she advised on matters relating to ADNOC’s operated and non-operated oil and gas assets.
