Easy Poekita Table and Cushion

PATTERN

Materials needed: • for your printer • • Fabric • Marker or pen for tracing • Needle • • Rice or beans • Fluffy stuffing • A small piece of cardboard

TABLE Table Top: • Trace and 1 circle out of cardboard and 2 slightly larger out of fabric. • Place the cardboard in between the two fabric circles. • Thread a needle, tie a knot and whip- the fabric layers together all the way around the circle. • Tie a knot and cut the thread.

Table Base: • Trace and cut 1 circle out of fabric • With needle and thread do the running-stitch close to the edge, all the way around the circle. • Place a teaspoon of beans or rice on the middle of the circle and pull on your thread so that the fabric closes over the beans or rice.. • Do some whip-stitches over the hole to make it stay closed. • Sew the ball to the bottom of the table top using a running or whip-stitch.

CUSHION • Trace and cut 2 circles out of fabric. • Thread a needle, tie a knot and whip-stitch the fabric layers together almost all the way around the circle. • Before you are all the way around, stuff the cushion lightly with fluff. • Once stuffed, whip-stitch the hole closed. • Tie a knot and cut the thread.

You must be careful and make sure that they poke and cut only the things that you want them to! 2.
