Good afternoon,
CAR/ L/ 1004032 – Holm MCFF, Gruting Voe, Shetland CAR/ L/ 1005096 – Hogan MCFF, Gruting Voe, Shetland
Thank you for consulting Shetland Islands Council on the above CAR licence applications.
The planning authority received planning applications ( references 2018/ 008/ MAR and 2018/ 009/ MAR) on 21 March 2018 for proposals that align with those set out in the CAR applications. The applications, which were accompanied by an EIA report under The Town and Country Planning ( Environmental Impact Assessment) ( Scotland) Regulations 2017 covering both the Holm and Hogan sites, were subject to consultation with SEPA Aberdeen on 02 April 2018. Consultation responses were received from SEPA Aberdeen as follows:
2018/ 008/ MAR – Hogan: 04 May 2018 ( Your ref: PCS/ 158255); 07 June 2018 ( Your ref: PCS/ 159260).
2018/ 009/ MAR – Holm: 04 May 2018 ( Your ref: PCS/ 158256); 07 June 2018 ( Your ref: PCS/ 159263).
It is anticipated at this time that planning applications 2018/ 008/ MAR and 2018/ 009/ MAR will be determined late August 2018.
The planning authority has no other substantive comments to make other than to say the site plan submitted with CAR application CAR/ L/ 1005096 is out of date. A revised version was submitted by the applicant in relation to planning application 2018/ 008/ MAR on 22 May 2018, copy attached for your information.
Kind regards,
John Rosie Marine Planning Officer Shetland Islands Council
