SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. DEADLINE for scholarship applications is March 31, 2021. (NO EXCEPTIONS) 2. Refer to application process below for a list of the supporting documents needed (i.e., reference forms, evidence of GPA, etc.) Incomplete applications will not be considered. 3. If any question does not apply to you in this application please put N/A in the space. 4. Type or print legibly. Illegible applications will be discarded. 5. You will be notified by phone or email if awarded a scholarship No Later Than April 15, 2021. 6. If you have any questions about the application, contact us by email at [email protected].

• This scholarship is open to female college students from Jones and Onslow Counties who are 2nd semester Freshman majoring in Elementary Education, Education and/or Business. The applicant must be able to provide proof that she is currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Applicants may be invited to an interview at the discretion of the scholarship committee.

• The Annie M. Cunningham Scholarship is a one-time award of $500.

• The completed scholarship application package must include the following items:

1. Completed application including photograph of applicant. 2. Official Transcript from your college or university. 3. Two letters of recommendation from your school, church, or employer. (Not a family member) 4. Typed essay, 250-500 words (topic is listed on page 2 of the application).

• No application will be considered unless ALL of the documents are enclosed and received by the due date.

• Proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university is required before the scholarship is disbursed.
