Mu Kappa Tau (MKT) is a nationally recognized collegiate honor society for marketing students that was founded by members of Pi Sigma Epsilon in 1966. Mu Kappa Tau was formed to recognize and honor individuals with notable academic achievement in the marketing discipline and is the only marketing honor society accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS).
For a limited time offer, MKT is offering a special promotion to all PSE chapters that charter MKT chapters with at least ten new members. The following describes this limited time offer available now through January 31, 2017.
1. Chapter Chartering Fee Waived: Thanks to Dr. Katie Hartman (MKT Past President), the $50 new chapter charter fee to the National Educational Foundation (NEF) will be donated for any PSE chapter that charters a new MKT chapter with at least 10 new members. *Note: NOT required that all MKT members be PSE members.
2. Letters of Support Waived: Chartering a new MKT chapter normally requires two letters of support from the Dean, Marketing Department Chair, etc. For PSE chapters, this requirement has been waived during this offer.
3. Free MKT Medallions: MKT members can purchase items to wear for graduation ceremonies and PSE chapters that submit an approved MKT constitution and bylaws and elect/appoint MKT chapter officers (President, Vice President, and Treasurer/Secretary) will receive 3 free medallions. (value ≈ $60)

PSE chapters will receive 100 COG points for chartering a MKT chapter and then 100 COG points for every student who successfully joins MKT. *Note: PSE chapters with already established MKT chapters can still earn up to 1,000 COG points if 10 or more students join MKT before January 31, 2017.
