Welcome you have entered the hidden gem of Waldorf Astoria , The Vault Bar. Are you ready to unlock the secrets of our bar?

It all started when Joost Kemp, the Lord of Kerkwijk, built this beautiful canal palace in 1665. He built this house from sandstone, a luxury building material at the time. After the Kemp family sold it, many other prominent members of Amsterdam society lived here.

In 1954 the Nederlandse Overzee Bank established alongside the prestigious Gentlemen’s canal and in 1969 it became the bank Mees & Hope, the most exclusive bank in the .

The safety deposited boxes, the low ceiling, and thick walls reveal more secrets of this location. You are located in the original old safe of the bank - this is the place where people stored their possessions such as their finest jewelry and money. Now, it is time to unlock the secrets of our Bar Team; the impressive , exclusive digestives, and unique spirits.
