PRUNOTTO

Prunotto is in the heart of country in a small picturesque village, Bussia Soprana. The rich history of the Prunotto estate dates back to 1904, when the growers’ cooperative “Ai vini delle ” was established in the council chamber of Serralunga before the notary public Giacomo Oddero and the young witness Alfredo Prunotto. The first took place in 1905, making the Prunotto one of the oldest and most traditional in the area.

ROERO DOCG 2019

The area has always been well known for the production of Arneis. A modern interpretation of this variety’s personality that is particularly pleasing and delicate. This is a fresh, stylish unique to the region.

Roero Arneis is straw yellow in color with light greenish hues. Its nose is intense with floral and fruity notes. The palate is notable for its good structure sustained by pleasant freshness and a lengthy finish.

FIULOT D'ASTI DOCG 2018

“Fiulot” in Piemonte’s local dialect means “young man”. This Barbera is delicate and easy to drink, a youthful expression of its fruit and aromas.

Fiulot is an intense, vibrant ruby red color. On the nose it’s vinous and fruity with notes of plums and cherries. Its palate is fragrant and exceptionally pleasant.

OCCHETTI LANGHE 2017

A historic wine from the Prunotto estate produced since the 1970’s. Soils are characterized by superficial sand, stratified levels of gravel and layers of clay and limestone that give the wine elegance and soft tannins.

Occhetti is ruby red in color with garnet hues, typical of this grape variety. Its nose is elegant with notes of raspberries that smoothly merch with hints of roses and licorice. The palate is full, harmonious with a lengthy tannin-rich finish.

BARBARESCO DOCG 2016

Prunotto’ s is produced from in and in the Barbaresco area, it’s the elegant expression of Nebbiolo. An aristocratic wine yet accessible and pleasant. It is aged in large barrels of varying capacities to enhance balance and softness on the palate.

Barbaresco is an intense garnet red in color. The nose is complex with aromas of red fruit and spicy notes. The palate is full and velvety with a persistent finish.

BAROLO DOCG 2016

A traditional Barolo, one of Prunotto’s historic labels, whose first was produced in 1905 from the best of the vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. Aging takes place in large oak barrels of various sizes, further enhancing the extraordinary typicity of Nebbiolo in this region.

Prunotto’s Barolo is garnet red in color. The nose is complex and generous with pleasing aromas of rose petals, red fruit and spicy notes. The palate is full, well-balances with velvety tannins
