16 year olds are required to continue in education or training until their 18th birthday. What Are My Main Options? School College Apprenticeships

Level 1 Level 1 Diploma Traineeship

Intermediate GCSEs Level 2 Diploma Level 2 Apprenticeship

A Levels Level 3 Diploma Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship Sixth Form

 A levels last 2 years

 Choose a college course alongside 2 ‘A’ Levels

 Study 3 or 4 subjects

 Continue with your favourite GCSEs or start new subjects.

 You will need a minimum of 5 passes at grade 5 as well as passing English Language and Maths (grade 4). Some subjects require at least a 5 grade at GCSE. Some local sixth forms
