The woodlands and meadows of Cwm George and Casehill, managed by the Woodland Trust, offer an extensive network of paths and bridleways and the ancient monument of Dinas Powys hill fort, dating back to 450 BC.

Dinas Powys is distinctive - within easy reach of Cardiff, it also retains its’ sense of traditional village life.

Within a short walk of excellent local primary and infants’ schools, the village boasts a range of independent shops, a supermarket, restaurants, pubs and a deli. The railway station is even closer than the village centre, with a frequent service to Cardiff Central station or westwards towards Barry.

Relax on the village green or on The Common where you can play or watch cricket and rugby, depending on the season. For the more active, further leisure facilities include tennis, golf and bowling clubs.

Cardiff city centre is Wales’ leading shopping destination, offering a contemporary shopping experience with modern brands and established department stores, as well as Victorian arcades, featuring artisan traders and cafés full of character.
