ITEM 1 (356) DECLARATION OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS None

th ITEM 2 (357) The minutes of the meeting on 4 ​ April were approved and signed. ​ ITEM 3 (358) POLICE REPORT There were no crimes in the area but PC Thomas warned us of the theft of bumpers from Ford Fiestas outside the area. He also said he would mention to the organization using Watery Lane as a a cycling circuit the danger for cyclists speeding in this lane.

ITEM 4 (359) MATTERS ARISING (332) Rhodri confirmed that planning permission could be granted for land earmarked but not approved in the LDP. Ann Thomas would consult residents around Vale View shortly about the possibility of clearing the banks of the stream

ITEM 5 (360) REPORT FROM RHODRI TRAHERNE Rhodri gave an update on the LDP, an inspectors report would follow the completion of the consultation on Alternative Sites. Adoption was planned for Autumn 2016. A new planning Bill is being prepared and, with the cutbacks, various departments of the Vale Council would be seriously challenged by the lack of funding.

ITEM 6 (361) HIGHWAYS AND FOOTPATHS Clerk to write to Steva about speeding cyclists.

ITEM 10 (365) FINANCE MATTERS a) Greenventure £290.00 payment approved b) Insurance – Bill Fawcett reviewed the policy and payment was approved to Zurich Insurance to 31.5.15 (£243.80) – Clerk to raise query with Zurich c) Clerk’s expenses 13/14 (£299.09) and reimbursement for hedge trimming (£50) approved e) Accounts for 13/14 were approved and signed and Section Two of the Annual Return was completed and signed, a copy of which will be sent to Mazars. A notice of appointment of date for the exercise of electors’ rights was displayed as required by the external auditors.

ITEM 11 (366) WEBSITE None

ITEM 12 (367) PROJECTS Log book for the pond was signed for April. Expandite on stiles was considered by the footpath officer a Health and Safety issue and would require discussion with Gwyn Teague It was agreed we should get an estimate from Peter Beddoes for cutting the hedge at the entrance to the Church and removing the brambles. Clerk to ask for quotation. It was agreed we should monitor the need for fencing the compost heap at the pond.

ITEM 13 (368) MATTERS FOR COMMUNITY LIAISON COMMITTEE It was agreed to query why the verges are trimmed so early in the year as an agenda item. Clerk to submit.

ITEM 14 (369) DOCUMENTS DISCUSSED a) WAG (Legislative Affairs Committee) consultation on inquiry into making laws in Fourth Assembly – no comments

ITEM 15 (370) PLANNING MATTERS 14/00398/FUL Ty Cerrig, – no comments
