Rudy Perez is director and choreographer of the Rudy Perez Dance Theater and Artist-in-Residence at Marymount The Manhattan College. A veteran of the dance revolution of the '60's, Perez is considered one of the most imaginative Williamsburgh and innovative choreographers in the country. A native New Yorker, he started his dance training at the New Savings Dance Group and went on to study with Martha Graham, Mary Anthony, Merce Cunningham, Erick Hawkins, and Bank at the American Ballet Center. Presently, Ms. Roan is a member of the Don Redlich Company and she teaches at NYU's School of the Arts. She is also co-director of a new dance company, Inquire about Dance Works, Inc.

David Varney has a degree in medical technology from Savings Bank Michigan State University; but after an Alvin Ailey resi- dency there, he realized that he wanted to be a dancer. Since then, Mr. Varney has studied in with Life Insurance Alwin Nikolais, Murray Louis, Mark Anthony, and Finis Jhung.
