February 2020 – V1 1. Who is 4Z? will operate with its own dedicated ticket designator of 4Z and no longer operate under the designator of SA.

2. What happens if I hold a ticket booked on SA8*** for travel prior to June 10th 2020? Flights will operate as normal up to June 10th 2020 on SA8***.

3. What will happen post June 10th 2020? All ticketed with SA8*** sectors will have their tickets re-accommodated onto 4Z subject to the SAA interline agreement being in place. All un-ticketed passengers can purchase a new ticket on 4Z directly.

4. What happens if I want to change a booking on SA8*** to 4Z for travel on/after June 10th 2020 but do not want to wait for re-accommodation? Currently a new ticket needs to be issued on 4Z and a refund requested from for the SA8*** ticket. Please request a refund waiver code from Airlink, upon proof of new ticket purchased.

5. Can passengers still through-check baggage? Between now and June 10th 2020 standard through-check procedure will be available. Post June 10th 2020 the ability to through-check will be determined by the through baggage agreements we have in place with different carriers, including SAA.

6. Which GDS is 4Z available in? 4Z is available in Travelport, Sabre and Amadeus.

7. What is the 4Z commission structure? 1% of the fares on domestic routes and 1.01% of the fares on regional routes.

8. What is the 4Z ADM policy? The 4Z ADM policy can be found on www.flyairlink.com/contact-us#travel-agents-helpline.

9. What is the 4Z refund policy? The 4Z refund policy will be made available in the near future and communicated accordingly. Refund requests can be directed to [email protected].

10. What is the admin fee for a refund on 4Z? The admin fee for a refund is currently ZAR440.00 plus 15% VAT.

11. Which credit cards will be accepted by Airlink? Currently we accept Visa and Mastercard. Discovery and Diners will be available soon. The addition of AMEX is still under investigation but no timeframe for implementation has been established as yet.

12. Are through fares available on 4Z? Through fares are not currently available, the GDS will quote a sum of sectors rather than a through fare. It is advised that you consult the long-haul carrier when a change of area is required. Once an interline agreement with SAA has been implemented, through fares should become available as with other international carriers.

13. Will 4Z have a dedicated call centre? Yes, a dedicated call centre is being established to assist with 4Z related queries. The contact details will be communicated in due course. In the meantime, please use the travel agent helpline +27 11 451 7350.

14. Will Airlink and South African Airways have an interline agreement? Currently there is no interline agreement in place between 4Z and South African Airways, However, we are in the process of finalizing the details to implement accordingly. This should be confirmed within the next few weeks.

15. Will 4Z remain as an partner in the Voyager program? 4Z is currently not an Airline partner of Voyager. This may change at some stage in the future.

16. Which do you have interline agreements with? Currently interline agreements with , KLM Royal Dutch Airlines/ and Qatar Airlines are undergoing testing and are soon to be implemented.

17. Will corporate spend be tracked? Yes, corporate spend will be tracked using an entry containing a unique identifier for each corporate. This system is not yet available, but progress will be communicated in the near future.

18. Will passengers still have access to the South African Airways business lounge? Business class passengers will still have access to the SAA business class lounge up to and including the 10th of June 2020. From the 11th of June 2020 Bidvest lounges will be made available to business class passengers in certain locations (still to be confirmed).
