Terms and Conditions STARLIGHT CARGO

Should Starlight Express Cargo not be accommodated on the day of lodgment, the Starlight Express Cargo will be priority on the first passenger flight the following morning, with a downgraded rate of Express Cargo. In the event that shipments do not meet the first flight the rate will be downgraded to General Cargo. This guarantee can unfortunately not cover incidences caused due to inter alia force majeure, technical failures safety checks and instances beyond the reasonable control of SAA Cargo.

EXPRESS CARGO

100% money back guarantee should Express Cargo not be available within 45 min after “Block Time”(aircraft at parking bay and doors open) or should your cargo not fly as tendered. This guarantee can unfortunately not cover incidences caused due to inter alia force majeure, technical failures safety checks and instances beyond the reasonable control of SAA Cargo.

GENERAL CARGO

SAAC will endeavor to move your general cargo within 12 hours of acceptance

BONSELA SAAC will accept cargo between 10H00 and 13H00, 7 days a week on all Mango (specific schedule attached) flights departing any station during this time. SAAC endeavor to deliver cargo within 24 hours. E-waybill shipments accepted but EXCLUDE all class cargo. LIVE ANIMALS

All AVI must be pre-booked via our reservations department prior to arrival at airport. Our reservations can be contacted on (011) 978 3366, or your any of your local reservations departments.

STORAGE CHARGES

48 hour free storage period for cargo at all SAA Cargo terminals will be allowed, commencing at 08H00 on the day following the day of Arrival. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be excluded for the purpose of calculating the free storage period. A 24 hour free storage period for cargo at ORT Johannesburg will be allowed, commencing at 08H00 on the day following the day of Arrival. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be included for the purpose of calculating the free storage period.

OTHER All rates exclude applicable fuel surcharges, not applicable on Min Charges. Kindly contact our sales department for the latest rates. All rates exclude VAT except for Storage and Part 108 Screening charges (it INCLUDES VAT). All cargo carried by South African Airways is subject to the airline's conditions of carriage.
