Simply search the UK departure point and end destination point i.e. LHR-DUR and this will return availability for both the British Airways and Comair flight sectors, for example: Sector 1 LHR-JNB (BA) Sector 2 JNB-DUR (MN with BA flight number) ALL OTHER AIRLINES - USE MULTISECTOR REQUEST 1 Login to LIBE and select ‘Multisector Request’ at the bottom of the availability search section. A pop-up form with multiple search boxes will appear. 2 Enter number of adults, children, infants etc. 3 Each sector must be entered separately and the onward airline must be selected from the drop down box. (For flights with British Airways leave the drop down blank). Example: BA flight sector From: LHR To: JNB Depart: 23-Oct-2015 Airline: Leave as ‘Select Airline’ SA flight sector From: JNB To: MQP Depart: 23-Oct-2015 Airline: South African Airways SA flight sector From: MQP To: JNB Depart: 30-Oct-2015 Airline: South African Airways BA flight sector From: JNB To: LHR Depart: 31-Oct-2015 Airline: Leave as ‘Select Airline’ Make sure the correct date is entered as in some cases the onward flight may depart the following day. If any flight sector date is incorrect then no availability will show. MULTISECTOR REQUEST continued on next page... 2 ...MULTISECTOR REQUEST CONTINUED 4 You can choose to select a specific time of day to travel or leave this blank to display all options. 5 To display all cabin choices leave the cabin menu on ‘Euro/World Traveller’. Alternatively to display a specific cabin, simply select this from the drop down menu. Please note, these may not be available on alternative carriers. 6 Click the ‘Search’ button at the bottom of the form to display availability. Once you have selected your chosen flights, the itinerary can be booked in the usual way. Please note that the information provided in this PDF is correct at time of creation (August 2015).   • Avianca Brasil to Exit Star Alliance
    AVIANCA BRASIL TO EXIT STAR ALLIANCE Star Alliance maintains competitive network in the region FRANKFURT, Germany – 19 August 2019 –Brazilian airline Ocean Air Linhas Aéreas S/A, headquartered in São Paulo and formerly doing business as Avianca Brasil, will formally leave Star Alliance with effect from 1 September 2019. Ocean Air’s withdrawal follows several months of bankruptcy protection and the withdrawal of its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by Brazilian regulator ANAC. The Star Alliance network maintains a significant and long-time presence in the Brazilian market continuously since its founding in 1997. As of 1 September 2019, the Alliance will number 27 member airlines. Jeffrey Goh, CEO Star Alliance, said: “Initially joining Star Alliance in 2015, Avianca Brasil made important contributions to our customer proposition in the Brazilian market, and we regret this unfortunate development. “I wish to stress that the exit of Avianca Brasil in no way affects the membership of Avianca S.A., our valued member based in Bogota, Colombia, which continues to be a significant contributor to the Alliance in South America." Eleven of the Star Alliance member airlines offer direct services to and from Brazil, namely: Air Canada, Avianca, Air China, Copa Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, South African Airways, TAP Air Portugal, Turkish Airlines and United.
