Notes on Windows / versions

The verification information of Panasonic Network Products, which are used in the environment of , Microsoft , or Windows 8.1 with Windows /8/9/10/11 is posted to the Panasonic Support Web Site below. The Pre-configuration and Notes for using Windows /9/10/11 are described below in this document. Descriptions are based on operation check by Panasonic Corporation. Possible symptoms may vary depending on platforms or versions, etc. If using Internet Explorer 8/9/10, or Vista, take appropriate security measures fully consid- ering the Microsoft support policy.

■ Panasonic Support Web Site URL ://security.panasonic.com/support/info/ Refer to the "Notes on Windows Vista / Windows 7" on the site in addition to the verification information.

■ Pre-Configuration For Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, switch to “Classic UI”. Panasonic Network Products do not support “Modern UI design”.

Important For Internet Explorer 8/9/10 Set "Display all websites in Compatibility View" on the "Compatibility View Settings" window, otherwise layout of screen image may be broken or video image may not be displayed. Procedure (1) Start Internet Explorer, and click "Tools" > "Compatibility View Settings". (2) Check "Display all websites in Compatibility View", and click the [Close] . (3) Restart the Internet Explorer.

For Add the IP-address or host name to "Add this website" in "Compatibility View Settings" window, otherwise layout of screen image may be broken or video image may not be displayed. Procedure (1) Start Internet Explorer, and click "Tools" > "Compatibility View Settings". (2) Add the IP-address or host name that you would like to use to "Add this website" in "Compatibility View Settings" window, and click the [Add] button, then click the [Close] button. (3) Turn off "Delete browsing history on exit" in "Internet Options" window of "Tools" menu. If it turns on, above IP-address or host name will be removed when the Internet Explorer is closed. (4) Restart the Internet Explorer.

■ Notes The plug-in software may not be installed on a PC. Turn off "SmartScreen Filter" for the safety setting. Procedure (1) Start Internet Explorer, and click "Safety" on the menu bar. (Start Internet Explorer, and click "Tool" on the tool bar.) (2) Select "Turn off SmartScreen Filter" from the "SmartScreen Filter" pull-down menu. (3) Select "Turn off SmartScreen Filter", and click the [OK] button on the "Microsoft SmartScreen Filter" window.

The plug-in software may not be installed, the video image may not be displayed, or the audio may not be au- dible. (/10/11) Turn off "ActiveX Filter" for the tool setting. Procedure (1) Start Internet Explorer, and click "Tools" on the menu bar. (2) Confirm there is no check mark to "ActiveX Filter". (3) If the check mark is turned on, click the "ActiveX Filter" and turn it off.

Following functions may not work. (Internet Explorer 8/9/10/11) - Audio function - Save/Print for One Shot function (Cannot find JPEG files saved on Explorer) - Download function (Cannot download image data saved on SD memory card in camera) Add the IP-address or host name to "Add this website to the zone" in "Trusted sites" window. Procedure (1) Start Internet Explorer, and click "Tools">"Internet options">"Security" . And then select "Trusted sites", click [Sites] button. (2) Add the IP-address or host name that you would like to use to "Add this website to the zone" in "Trusted sites" window, and click the [Add] button. (3) Turn off "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone", then click the [Close] button.

When upgrading firmware, file name cannot be entered directly. Procedure Click the [Browse...] button to display the "File Selection" window, and select a file.
