Policy Center Requirements Operating Systems: The following operating systems are recommended to access Policy Center.

Internet Browsers: The following browsers are required to access Policy Center. If you currently use an older Microsoft browser than listed, or a non-Microsoft browser, you may receive other errors or experience other unknown issues.

You are responsible for uploading policy documents to Policy Center before and after submission of the application. Upload only what is needed. Most file types are acceptable. All documents will be retained according to TWIA’s document retention policy.

Tier 1 includes browsers used in testing environments. Tier 2 includes browsers that can present the core functionality and content, but may not be pixel perfect and may not to perform as well as Tier 1 browsers.

Known Issues for Policy Center: ActiveX plug-in: If the Guidewire Document Assistant ActiveX plug-in is not installed your computer, you will see the following error message in black text at the top of your browser screen: “Failed to load TemplateRunner ActiveX 32 bit control. Document editing will fail.” This message indicates that the plug- in is not installed, and you will not be able to view or print policy documents. If you continue to see this error message, you should accept the prompt to install the plug-in if you have administrative rights on your computer, or contact your IT department for support.

Internet Explorer 8: You or your IT department will need to add a registry entry found in Microsoft KB323308.

Internet Explorer 9+: You or your IT department may need to add twia.org to their list of trusted sites.

Internet Explorer 10: There are two operational modes, Desktop and . Guidewire only supports the Desktop version because Metro does not have the required ActiveX plug-in support.

Internet Explorer 10/11: There is a feature called “auto clear” which can clear data in fields – and should not be utilized due to the fact this feature interferes with “masked” fields like phone numbers. You will be trained on how to avoid this feature and how to recover from it in the event you accidentally select this feature. Internet Explorer 11: Certain features appear garbled or distorted on . To fix this, add the page to Internet Explorer’s “Compatibility View .” Please refer to the following link for more information: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11.

Windows 10: is the default browser in Windows 10 and is not currently supported.
