Dream Teams - Strasbourg, France

The Team

Strasbourg is a multi-cultural city in the northwest of France. It’s one of the European Union capitals, home to the EU Parliament and the second-largest university in France. In addition to international businessmen, students and politicians, Strasbourg is also home to a vast number of refugees and migrants from around the world. Our summer team will be partnering with a local church-plant in a culturally diverse neighborhood, where migrants, registered Team Dates asylum-seekers, university students, and long-time locals intersect.

Arrival in Strasbourg – July 3 Despite living near each other, cross-cultural movement doesn’t seem to Training – July 4-6 happen on a wide scale, with people often staying within their wider cultural Ministry – July 7-15 group. The local church will be opening a community center as a place where Debrief and Celebration July 16 people can mix and meet while working on their French or English, getting Departure – July 17 homework help, or learning other important skills… and through it all to live out the love and hope of Jesus to every person we meet.

This covers training, ministry expenses, in country transport as well as room and board. Team members are Inland Mission’s responsible for arranging their international travel bookings and expenses to Diaspora Ministry and from Strasbourg.
