Seventh Day of Pesach (begins Tuesday night) Tuesday Night 4/14 – 20th of Nisan – 5th Day of Omer • 7:26p Candle Lighting • Shehechiyanu is not recited on the seventh or eighth days of Pesach. • Recite the same Maariv for Yom Tov as recited in shul with the proper insertions for Pesach. Recite Sefiras HaOmer for Day 6 (after 8:25pm).

Wednesday Morning 4/15 – 21st of Nisan – 6th Day of Omer • Recite the same Birchos Hashachar, Psukei D’Zimra and Shachris as recited in shul, except for: o Do not recite Borchu. o Recite the weekday davening of Hameir La’aretz after . o Include the verse of Kel Melech Ne’eman before reciting Shema. o Recite the for Yom Tov with the proper Pesach insertions followed by Half with its berachos. o Do not recite any tefillos for taking out the . • Read the for the seventh day of Pesach: Shemos 13:17-15:26, the Maftir is Ve’hikravtem (Bamidbar 28:19-25) and the HafTorah is from Shmuel (Samuel) II 22:1-51.

• Recite and the Amidah for Yom Tov with the proper insertions for Pesach. • Complete the davening as usual except omit Anim Zemiros and add the for Wednesday.

Wednesday Mincha • Recite Ashrei, Uva Le’tzion, Amidah for Yom Tov with the proper insertions for Pesach and .

Eighth Day of Pesach (Wednesday Night) • Nightfall is 8:27pm. One should not make any preparations for the meal or light candles prior. It is preferable not to recite Maariv until 8:25pm. • Shehechiyanu is not recited on the eighth night of Pesach. • Recite the same Maariv for Yom Tov as recited in shul with the proper insertions for Pesach. Recite Sefiras HaOmer for Day 7 (after 8:27pm).

Thursday Morning 4/16 – 22nd of Nisan – 7th Day of Omer • Recite the same Birchos Hashachar, Psukei D’Zimra and Shachris as recited in shul, except for: o Do not recite Borchu. o Recite the weekday davening of Hameir La’aretz after Yishtabach. o Include the verse of Kel Melech Ne’eman before reciting Shema. o Recite the Amidah for Yom Tov with the proper Pesach insertions followed by Half Hallel with its berachos. o Do not recite any tefillos for taking out the Torah.

• Read the Torah reading for the seventh day of Pesach: Devarim 15:19 – 16:17. The Maftir is Ve’hikravtem (Bamidbar 28:19-25) and the HafTorah is Yeshaya (Isaiah) 10:32–12:6. • Yizkor can be recited without a . It is customary to pledge money to tzedakah before reciting Yizkor: suburbanorthodox.org/yizkor. • Recite Ashrei and the Mussaf Amidah for Yom Tov with the proper insertions for Pesach. • Complete the davening as usual except we omit Anim Zemiros and add the Shir Shel Yom for Thursday.

Thursday Mincha • Recite Ashrei, Uva Le’tzion, Amidah for Yom Tov with the proper insertions for Pesach and Aleinu.

Thursday Maariv • 8:29pm Maariv/Havdallah

• Recite the same davening as recited in shul, which includes the supplemental tefillah of Atah Chanantanu in the Amidah. Count Sefiras HaOmer for Day 8 and conclude with Aleinu. • Havdallah includes only the two berachos (blessings) of HaGafen and HaMavdil. We do not recite the two berachos on the besamim (spices) or eish (fire).
