Participates in organizational planning and strategic priority setting as a member of the Leadership Team. Additional responsibilities have included:

• Management and supervision of CIP’s Housing Counseling Program (2008-2016) including overseeing contract compliance and program budget; supervision of program staff; increased program revenue by over 300% from 2010 to 2015.

• Contract management and coordination of a Department of Aging grant through which the National Council on Aging’s (NCOA) Aging Mastery Program (2014-2015) was implemented in seven senior centers across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

• Participation in the development, planning process, and/or delivery of community-academic research collaborations including:

o Served as an assessor for Hold That Thought, a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) funded community-based research study conducted by Thomas Jefferson University (2012-2014; Dr. Barry Rover and Dr. Robin Casten, Principal Investigators), for which Center in the Park provided recruitment, baseline and incremental assessments.

o Served as Project Manager for Beat the Blues, a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) funded community-based randomized control trial conducted at Center in the Park in collaboration with Thomas Jefferson University and Johns Hopkins University (2007-2013; Dr. Laura Gitlin, Principal Investigator). Beat the Blues tested the efficacy of a home-based non-pharmacological behavioral activation intervention to address depression in homebound African American older adults.

• Represents agency at the regional and national level through conference presentations. • Provided field supervision for Master’s level social work students completing placements at Center in the Park.

Responsible for the oversight, supervision, operation, and overall growth of a 15 person Social Services Department, programs, and budgets. Responsible for assessing eligibility of individuals hospitalized on inpatient psychiatric units for enrollment in behavioral health services.
