Background Bodegas Felix Sanz was born in 1934 to create a range of unique . The wine cellars are set in the heart of the town of Rueda. They hold more than 300 barrels and have the capacity to store 500,000 litres. The bottling lines have a capacity for 2500 bottles an hour. The is equipped with the latest technology in harvesting, wine processing and bottling equipment.

Vineyards

We have more than 30 hectares of where we grow varieties native to the area, including Verdejo. Our vines grow on soils in organic matter, on a gravelly soil layer of boulders, which is very beneficial to the plant root, and clay/limestone subsoil.

The - Verdejo Verdejo is the aromatic grape variety behind the crisp white wines of Rueda in central Spain. It is by far the most planted variety in this part of the country, and is produced both varietally and as the major component of a blend with either Viura or . Full-bodied Verdejo wines are held in high regard, displaying herbaceous, nutty characters with balanced acidity and some cellaring potential.
